The party sold off the caravan, and upgraded themselves with the spoils. During the next day, investigating the city, Sir Tim came upon a large gathering, that quickly dissolved into a riot. He was helped out of the riot by a strange local, who called himself Kimall, Man of the People. Kimall describes the harsh and absurd conditions the city has descended into, and convinces Sir Tim to help him in his cause.

Sir Tim unites the party, and sought out Kimall, meeting his band of resistance fighters. They convince the group to investigate a local temple of Pelor, who Kimall believes is leading Horse Lord Malgain astray. Tek, Rothgar, Div, and Sir Tim sneak into the catacombs beneath the Temple, and Rodo and Gallia break into the upper story. Some undead and investigation latter, the group reunites, and discovered a cult of Shar worshiping beneath the temple. They slay the cultists and brought back proof to Kimall, who set off to alert the local authorities.
