This is the fundamental technique of those who hunt from above.// The Exalt makes a martial arts attack on any enemy that he could reach with a dash, ignoring terrain penalties. He must take them in the first blow, or go hungry.// If the Exalt's attack hits and deals at least one health level of damage, it deals an additional level of lethal damage and clinches the enemy. ==== Mountain Raptor Form ==== Cost: 6m\\ Duration: One scene\\ Mins: Essence 3, Martial Arts 3\\ Type: Simple (Speed 3)\\ Keywords: Combo-OK, Form-type\\ Prerequisite Charms: Prey-Taking Strike //The Skyknight wraps himself in power, adopting the grace and freedom of those who call the sky their home.// While this Charm is active, the Exalt's vertical and horizontal jump speeds double, and he is not subject to any ground-based environmental conditions that hinder his movement. In addition, he is always considered to be attacking from higher ground against any foe who does not possess this Charm. ==== Ice-Crowned Glory ==== Cost: 4m, 1wp\\ Duration: One scene\\ Mins: Essence 4, Martial Arts 4\\ Type: Simple (Speed 6)\\ Keywords: Obvious, Combo-OK\\ Prerequisite Charms: Mountain Raptor Form //Emulating the majesty of the ice-capped peaks deals a harsh blow to those who would attack the Skyknight. Like those who climb unprepared, they are defeated not by the mountain, but by themselves.// While this Charm is active, anyone who attacks the Exalt and hits must make a Stamina + Survival roll, with an internal penalty equal to the Exalt's permanent Essence. Failure inflicts a level of bashing damage, and they cannot attack the Exalt again until the next tick on which they act. ====Death Splits the Sky==== Cost: 6m\\ Duration: Instant\\ Mins: Essence 4, Martial Arts 5\\ Type: Simple (Speed 6)\\ Keywords: Obvious, Combo-OK\\ Prerequisite Charms: Ice-Crowned Glory //The warrior leaps too quickly to be seen; appearing far above his foe, he falls from the sky like a bolt from the heavens, and like the heavens, he is implacable in his terrible majesty.// The Exalt makes an unexpected martial arts attack. If he hits, his opponent is automatically knocked down, even if he takes no damage, and must take the Inactive action as his next action. Everyone else who can see the Exalt has their next action pushed back by two ticks. The Speed of this action may not be reduced by any means, including Gem of Perfect Mobility. ====Wings of the Noble Hawk==== Cost: 4m, 1wp\\ Duration: One scene\\ Mins: Essence 3, Martial Arts 4\\ Type: Reflexive (Step 1 or 2)\\ Keywords: Combo-Basic\\ Prerequisite Charms: Mountain Raptor Form\\ //The pride of the falcon teaches the martial artist that it is not enough to avoid blows. The force of his self is so great that he wards off assault merely by being.// The Exalt adds his Presence to his Martial Arts and Dodge pools for the purposes of all attacks and defenses. This bonus is subject to the usual cap on additional dice from Charms. In addition, as long as Wings of the Noble Hawk and Mountain Raptor Form are active at the same time, the Exalt may take Dash or Jump actions reflexively any time he would be able to take a Move action. ====Twelve Talon Assault==== Cost: 4+, 1wp\\ Duration: Instant\\ Mins: Essence 3, Martial Arts 4\\ Type: Extra Action (Speed 6, DV -2)\\ Keywords: Combo-OK\\ Prerequisite Charms: Wings of the Noble Hawk //Like a hungry hunter, the Skyknight strikes time and time again, until he drives home his strike.// The Exalt spends a point of willpower and four motes, and makes an attack. After it is resolved, he may buy another attack for four additional motes (Onslaught applies). He may continue this until he wishes to stop, or until he has hit a number of times equal to his Martial Arts. ====Sky's Limit Dominion==== Cost: -\\ Duration: Permanent\\ Mins: Essence 5, Martial Arts 5\\ Type: Permanent\\ Keywords:None\\ Prerequisite Charms: Death Splits the Sky, Twelve Talon Assault //In the end, the only boundaries on the Skyknight's domain are the borders of the blue sky above.// The Exalt gains the permanent ability to fly at his full movement speed as a reflexive action by spending five motes to start and one mote per tick to continue. In addition, as long as the Exalt has Mountain Raptor Form active, he is immune to any effects or penalties that hinder his movement, and may only be attacked by ranged or Reach weapons.
