The ritual of Elemental Empowerment blesses an object with a power based on one of the five elements. Though subsequent castings of the spell grant no further effects, they are not wasted. Elementals respect each other's territory, and only the first Blessing cast is active while the others slumber, waiting to be called forth. 

This spell activates a number of additional Blessings up to the caster's permanent essence, but requires the  support of a senior elemental of the appropriate element for each Blessing. Each elemental must have essence at least as high as the highest essence (caster or any assisting elementals) involved in casting that Blessing.

As this spell draws on the authority elder elementals have over their lesser cousins, any Elemental participating must be doing so of its own free will. The first shape sorcery action causes any bindings on the participants to shatter.
