The party sleeps soundly. On waking, Irenicus thinks only of destruction. He can no longer sleep, and seeks out a purveyor of the implements of death. He finds solace in the shop of Moralin Coalhewer, a devout dwarven smith. ODOR SAWYER tags along. Irenicus buys a buckler, Odo interrogates random passers by about wizards. On learning of the presence of a wizard, Sawyer demands proof that he is not in league with the horrible hobgoblin hooligans. Townsfolk stammer confusedly.
